Who would go to a doctor who says, "It doesn’t matter what medication you take, as long as you take it sincerely"? Obviously someone who does not care about their health.

Who would agree with a policeman who says, "It doesn’t matter which laws you obey, as long as you obey them sincerely"? Obviously someone who does not truly care about law and order.

Who would go to a mechanic who says, "as long as you sincerely believe your car is fine, then it doesn’t need the oil checked"? Obviously someone who doesn’t care about their car.

Who would believe a Bible teacher who says, "It doesn’t matter what you believe as long as you are sincere"? If our soul’s salvation is important, is a comment that starts with "it doesn’t matter" really what we need?

What does the Bible say?

Matthew 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to Me ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’"

James 2:19 "You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe and tremble!"

II Timothy 2:15 "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
